Building a living model for regenerative living, local empowerment, and bioclimatic design
Rooted in Costa Rica’s natural richness and cultural traditions, this pilot sets the stage for a grounded, regenerative way of living – one that can be replicated across diverse regions.
This planned 20-hectare initiative is envisioned as a living prototype for regenerative living – where clean technology, bioclimatic design, circular infrastructure, and shared stewardship come together in one coherent, human-scale system.
The pilot is grounded in a different logic – one that treats regeneration not as a feature or outcome, but as a cultural operating system. It’s intended not as a retreat from the world, but as a grounded, forward-facing alternative for those ready to live with purpose, clarity, and care.
Plans include housing for 150+ full-time residents, alongside a community center, a retreat and learning space, an integrative health offering, a therapeutic animal sanctuary, and regenerative food and water systems – each designed to support autonomy, belonging, and long-term resilience.
Why Costa Rica
Costa Rica was not chosen by chance. With its progressive environmental policies, rich biodiversity, and cultural alignment with regenerative values, it offers a uniquely fertile ground for launching a pilot of this nature. The country's stability and international recognition in sustainability make it an ideal proving ground for a model meant to be both locally rooted and globally adaptable.
What Sets This Apart
This isn’t a back-to-the-land retreat or a utopian enclave. It’s a systems-based prototype, designed to be replicated and adapted across diverse bioregions. The emphasis is on circular design, intergenerational living, cultural integration, and the pragmatic work of building lasting autonomy – not isolation.
After the Pilot
This pilot is not the destination – it’s the departure point. What’s built here will shape a broader framework for regenerative settlement: an adaptive template to be refined, replicated, and re-rooted across other bioregions. Lessons learned on the ground will directly inform the rollout of future Terravive Communities, ensuring that growth is not just scaled, but matured through lived experience.
Why It Matters
We’re entering a phase where fragmentation is no longer workable. Sustainability, health, food, energy, community – these challenges are still being treated as separate conversations. This pilot begins from a different assumption: that regeneration can’t be compartmentalized.
It’s not about building a perfect village. It’s about prototyping a livable system – one that reconnects people to land, to one another, and to the kind of work that makes sense in a time of transition.
This will be the first in a distributed network of Terravive Communities – each grounded in its own bioregional context, yet sharing a common architecture of values, systems, and design. Once you’re part of the network, movement between communities is simple and frictionless. No red tape. No re-entry. Just open pathways between places of coherence.
By grounding these ideas in a real place, with real people, and real constraints, we’re creating something transferable. Not a sealed model, but a living template – adaptable, open, and culturally rooted.
For Investors
If you're exploring long-view investment opportunities in land, community infrastructure, or regenerative development, this pilot represents a high-integrity, real-world prototype. We are currently engaging with investors who bring more than capital – who understand that coherence, trust, and long-term value creation cannot be rushed.
This is not a flip, a short-term play, or a speculative asset. It's a grounded regenerative infrastructure initiative with a deeply intentional cultural foundation.
For Impact-Aligned Funders
Some forms of support are not structured around ownership or return – but around stewardship. If your mission is to accelerate regenerative transformation, community autonomy, or place-based knowledge systems, this pilot offers a living system worth supporting.
We're open to dialogue with funders and foundations that operate beyond extractive logic and are ready to back real-world alternatives with integrity, patience, and trust.
Closing Words
We’re not pitching an idea. We’re building a system – locally rooted, ecologically sound, and globally replicable. And the doors are open.
